Social Media Handler Wanted📱

Hi,

I’m Mitch, the founder of Rusteam.

Rusteam is still in its early stages. It’s fully solo-owned and self-funded, so I’m building it carefully and keeping spending disciplined while it grows.

Right now, I’m looking for someone to run and grow Rusteam’s TikTok presence.

This is not a corporate position. It’s a relaxed, creative side hustle for someone who already enjoys making short-form content and understands Rust culture.

Role Overview 🎬

For now, the focus is TikTok only.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating, editing, and posting TikToks on the Rusteam account
• Posting consistently, ideally close to daily
• Producing a mix of original content and occasional reuploads
• Understanding short-form hooks and viewer retention

Consistency matters more than perfection.

Content Direction 🎮

Content will include:

• Debug-camera shots filmed on sandbox or creative servers
• Meme-style Rust scenarios, such as a solo getting doorcamped with a relatable caption and a subtle call to action
• More direct, platform-focused videos explaining Rusteam and what it offers

A good first step for inspiration and direction regarding style would be Rustified's TikTok page. I image having content and media similar to theirs.

Over time, we’ll compare indirect and direct promotion to see what performs best and scale accordingly.

Requirements 🧠

• Solid video editing skills
• Experience with short-form content
• Basic understanding of digital marketing is a plus
• Familiarity with Rust and its player culture

You absolutely do not need a university degree or formal credentials. That would be overkill for this. I simply need someone capable and confident in their ability to execute.

Compensation & Perks 💸

At this stage:

• Volunteer-based OR
• $5 AUD per unique, authentic video created

Whoever takes this role will also receive:

• Free Rusteam Plus
• Special Discord roles and elevated permissions within the Rusteam server
• High positioning and visible status within the Rusteam brand as an early contributor

As Rusteam grows and begins generating stronger revenue, this role will naturally evolve into something more structured and significantly better paid.
